Each image is a moment condensed from my larger installation, "Vibrations", where I explore the many ways I move through life. I try to live for the moment, but constantly, I think of other places, memories, and worries. I am pulled by the past, present, and conflicting desires. With the mirror as my catalyst, I create portals where everything can happen all at once, I can live multiple lives simultaneously.
You are tender. You keep me on my feet when I start to float away. In your presence, I am safe, with your kindness ease of mind.

Artist Statement: Our ability to feel connected in the presence of other's intimate experiences only we had thought to live and feel fascinates me. This communal phenomenon is a celebration of self and individual journey.
My work emphasizes collaboration, whether it be social practice — focusing on the connection between the artist and the subject, or immersive installation, encouraging the audience to sit with feelings of familiarity. Both processes are invitations to participate.
The mirrors I use within my installations help us recognize the hidden parts of our being. Projection allows me to explore shared sensations and the physical and mental connections between a body and memory by investigating individuals' relationships with themselves and their environments.
I explore the idea of home and reminiscence prompted by a combination of specific sounds and imagery. I am interested in discovering the self through studies of loss, the past, memory, attachment to place, and how a person physically and mentally exists within a space.
