Artist Statement: Katie Mollon is an analog photographer based in Michigan. She uses experimental cameras and techniques to approach her subjects from an emotional, rather than realistic, point of view. Her images depict feelings and memories associated with place. The surreal qualities of the work are achieved either in-camera, or by physically altering the negatives.
